Eastern Shore Associates is proud of it's strong
relationship with NYMIR, the New York Municipal Insurance Reciprocal
(www.nymir.org).
NYMIR was chartered as a licensed insurance company in the state of
New York in 1993. They now insure nearly 600 municipalities
across New York State. They operate as a not for profit
insurance company owned and operated by it's subscribers - counties,
towns, villages, and cities located throughout New York State.
NYMIR offers its
subscriber municipalities a long term, stable alternative to the
standard insurance company approach. As a not for profit
entity, NYMIR is free to concentrate its energies on meeting the
needs of its subscribers rather than those of stockholders.
The coverages offered by NYMIR have become the benchmark for the
industry, and are continually being improved to meet the ever
changing needs of their subscribers.
