Eastern Shore

The Central NY Agency of
the Mass Mutual Financial Group - a general agency of
Massachusetts
Mutual Life Insurance Company (Mass Mutual) to provide access to a
broad range of financial services right from our office.
The Central NY
Agency of the Mass Mutual Financial Group enjoys a tremendous reputation in our local marketplace, and we're
excited to have them on board. What The Central NY Agency of the
Mass Mutual Financial Group offers is a full
financial exposure analysis. They offer all types of insurance and
investment products, including annuities, individual life, long-term
care, disability income, and a whole host of investment products
from mutual funds to individual stock purchases. Here are a few
examples:
-
Term Life - Term insurance is generally the least expensive and simplest
type of life insurance. It provides death benefit protection inexpensively for a set period of time, such as 1, 10, or 20 years. If you die within the policy period, a death benefit is paid to your beneficiary. There is no accumulated value or “equity” associated with Term Insurance.
-
Whole Life - Like Term insurance, Whole Life policies provide a death benefit to be paid upon the death of the principal, during the policy period. Whole Life policies also act as investment vehicles by accumulating “cash value” or equity over time. As the policy matures and accumulates equity, the policy holder can borrow against and, in some instances, withdraw money to meet future goals, such as paying for a child's college education. In addition to the death benefit and equity provisions, Whole Life products often enjoy favorable tax treatment, making Whole Life policies an excellent supplement for retirement savings.
-
Long Term Care – Most long term policies pay benefits when long term care is medically necessary and prescribed by a physician. Policies vary, but most pay benefits for care in nursing homes. Benefits may also include payments for assisted living facilities, or even home health care. Policies and benefits vary, but the need for coverage grows daily with the aging of the population and skyrocketing medical costs.
-
Medicare Supplements - (often called Medigap) is private insurance that supplements Medicare benefits and may cover co-payments and deductibles for medical and hospital expenses. Medigap policies generally do not provide coverage for long-term care.
Let us show you how to protect the ones you love. Whether your concerns are business or personal, Eastern Shore can assist you with a tailor-made program to fit your needs.
